Privacy Policy
Why do we collect information
We collect data to provide you with the best experience. We can also use analytics on our ads campaigns, to know which ads are more successful.
What information do we collect?
In App
Analytics
We collect statistical (non-identifiable) information on how you use the application so we know what features are being using and based on that to modify application to better match your needs. Analytics data is stored in Mixpanel.
Crash Reports
Crash reports are sent only if the application crashes. They help us identify problems and release fixes early. Crash logs are stored in AppCenter, a Microsoft company.
Search ads attribution
We use AppsFlyer for search ads attribution (outside of the application). We send a few events from the app, such as clicking on the buy dialog and starting a free trial. These are later aggregated and assigned to an active ad campaing that we run.
Setapp
Diarly is integrated with Setapp. If you're using Setapp, a device identifier is used in order to manage the Setapp subscription.
If you contact us via email, we store your email history in OVH hosting.
Website
We use Google Analytics 4 on our website to know how many page views we have, which websites link to our website, and the number of redirections to the App Store.
Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses, and all data from EU-based devices is collected through domains and on servers based in the EU. Learn more about GA4's privacy.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect any personally identifiable information, or any of the contents of your journals, entries, notes, media, recordings.
Your journals are yours, are saved on your local device or your personal iCloud account, and we have no way of reading or accessing any of this data.
If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please contact us as hello@diarly.com.
