Markdown export structure

Choosing Markdown format will export your journals as a zip file, organized as follows:

Export
  > Journal A
    ...
  > Journal B
    > Year (e.g., 2020)
      > Data
      - MM-DD.md
      ...
  • The Data folder contains all images, files, and attachments from your journal.
  • Each MM-DD.md file represents a text entry for that specific day.
  • Notes without a date are put in the Journal directory not inside a Year folder.

This structured format is ideal for backups or manual editing and can easily be re-imported into Diarly.

Exporting your Diarly journals is a simple and flexible process, accommodating various formats and devices, ensuring your journaling experience is seamless and accessible.
