How to enable encryption
Note: Encryption is available with Diarly Premium. Password and biometric app lock are included in both Free and Premium; app lock alone does not encrypt your entries.
Open Settings > Password & Encryption and enable entry encryption with a password. For app lock options, see how to set a password.
When encryption is enabled, the text of all entries and notes is stored encrypted on your device and remains encrypted when synced through iCloud. Images and other attachments are not encrypted by Diarly.
Important: Keep your password safe. If you forget your password, there’s no way to recover your encrypted entries or notes.
