Diarly on iOS offers the same extensive formatting options as the Mac version, allowing you to effortlessly write and format your journal entries on any iOS device.

Editing options

Your primary tool for editing in Diarly is the Editor Toolbar, positioned above the keyboard. It offers a variety of options to enhance your journaling experience.

Navigating the editor toolbar

Located above the keyboard, the editor toolbar in Diarly is your control panel for editing text. Simply slide horizontally across the toolbar to explore various editing options.

Diarly's editor is equipped with auto-completion features to streamline your writing process:

  • Type [[ to quickly link to other entries or notes.
  • Insert emojis by typing : followed by the emoji name (e.g., :smile:).
  • Use / to access a quick insert menu for time, location, weather, and more.
